Sponsorship for a school child

The training sponsorship for a school child costs 20 euros per month. This amount ensures that a child receives school clothing, food and education.

You accompany your sponsored child for as long as he or she needs educational support - up to a maximum of 12th grade - and participate in the child's personal development.

When a sponsorship is concluded, you will receive a photo and a short profile of the child, learn more about his or her personal circumstances. You will receive mail from India informing you about the progress and school grades.

You will also hear from us if the child no longer needs support, for example, because he or she has left school or moved away.

A sponsorship should always be considered on a long-term basis. However, it can also be cancelled at any time, you yourself determine the duration according to your possibilities.

The sponsorship contributions are tax deductible. You will automatically receive a donation receipt from us after the end of the year.

Training sponsorship for a disabled child

Our partner organisation HOM offers mentally handicapped children the opportunity to learn in a sheltered day school within the bounds of their possibilities and to acquire important things of daily life. At the same time, the all-day care of the handicapped children gives the parents the opportunity to work, care for siblings, house and animals. In the evening, the children are brought back home by a school bus.

The sponsorship for a handicapped child costs 20 Euro per month. This amount ensures that the child receives school clothing, food and professional care.

You accompany your sponsored child in this institution until the age of 25 and take part in his or her everyday life and development.  When a sponsorship is concluded, you will receive a photo and a short curriculum vitae of the child and learn more about his or her personal circumstances.

Twice a year you will receive mail from India informing you about news. You will also hear from us if the child no longer needs support, for example, because it has left all-day school.

A sponsorship should always be considered in the long term. You can also cancel it at any time, you yourself determine the term according to your options.

The sponsorship contributions are tax deductible. You will automatically receive a donation receipt from us after the annual financial statements.

Help a student

Poverty in families is the reason why in India many children can only attend primary school for a few years.

But many of them dream of getting a chance in life: they want to study or get a good education that will open the way to a civil service or administration, to an engineer or even to a parish priest.

Give a student or seminarian the chance of a study place for 100 - 150 Euro per month, including room and board.

When a sponsorship is concluded, you will receive a photo and a résumé of the student, learn more about his or her personal background. You will also receive mail from India and learn how his education is going.

You will also hear from us if your sponsored child no longer needs support because he/she has finished his/her studies or has left the educational institution.

Sponsorship for a family

You can take over a sponsorship with 20 Euro per month individually, but also as a family, circle of friends, company or association, or help a needy family directly with a one-time donation. Feel free to contact us!

As a family sponsor, you will accompany a specific family on its way to a better future.

With this sponsorship you support widows, single mothers or families in need, so that they can move on and later on take care of themselves and their children by their own efforts.

When you take out a sponsorship, you will receive a photo of the family with an exact description of their personal circumstances. You will learn more about the concrete needs and what your monthly help will be used for. You will receive mail from India informing you about the progress and development of the families. You will also hear from us when the family no longer needs support because other circumstances have arisen and they are able to manage their daily lives on their own again.

Our partner organizations in India, MIDS and HOM, organize the way of your help on site. They provide active social work. The employees know the needs and requirements of the individual families very well.

They know where chickens, a goat or a cow can be helped, where windows or doors have to be procured, whose house roofs simply can no longer withstand the monsoon rain, and where seriously ill people need a wheelchair or a nursing bed... They also know exactly where toilets or wells are missing and which families do not have access to clean drinking water.

MIDS and HOM also support with micro-credits, organize special programs for girls and women, give instructions for home nursing and palliative care and much more.
